I created nature and craft activities for children over the summer holidays. This project looked to provide activities for deprived areas of Reading. This project was based around sites in Reading and was funded by Brighter futures for children.

I spent the day taking children on nature treasure hunts as 'Pirate Laura'. I also made clay animals and insect houses with the children. We made magic wands to "save nature" and the children enjoyed discussing the magic of nature. I created poems and researched literature to include in the days and enjoyed reading these.
